The jury is still very much out on cannabis and heart health. There are numerous studies that show cannabis elevates your heart rate and can interfere with blood thinners in such a way that it makes the prescription less effective.  As always, please consult your doctor prior to starting a cannabis regimen. They don’t have to like it, as long as it’s safe for you, but they do have to respect your freedom of choice when it comes to your own healthcare.
