I cannot stress the importance of doing your own homework when it comes to drug interactions with cannabis. Budtenders are not versed on every drug out there and do not posses the computer software to check on any potential interactions. A well-educated budtender will know the basic warnings, such as grapefruit, epilepsy drugs and immunotherapy.  Always, always let your doctor know that you are using cannabis. They don’t have to like it, as long as it’s safe for you, but they do have to respect your freedom of choice when it comes to your own healthcare.
